Anti-Lokpal Bill protest held in Jammu

Jammu, Aug 5 Demanding inclusion of Prime Minister and judges in the ambit of Lokpal Bill, over 300 people led by social activists held a protests march here today. The activists assembled on highway at Jeevan Nagar area of the city and held demonstrations against government backed Lokpal Bill, which was introduced in Parliament yesterday. They raised anti-government slogans and blocked traffic for a brief period in support of the demand to include Prime Minister and higher judiciary in the Lokpal Bill. "We support Anna as he is the representative of civil society at the national level. People from north to south support his campaign for Lokpal Bill," Om Prakash, activist who led the march said.. Later, they dispersed peacefully.
