| Excise Comm inspects Lower Munda Toll Post | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
SRINAGAR, Aug 5: Excise Commissioner. Vineeta Gupta, today paid a surprise inspection of Toll Post lower Munda and other minor Toll Posts of Sadiwara, Gulab Bagh and Zing in order to take stock of the functioning of the toll posts.
Excise Commissioner was informed by the Excise and Taxation Officer Toll post Lower Munda that there is an increase of Rs 23.58% as compared to last year’s achievement for the first quarter of the financial year 2010-11.The Excise Commissioner directed the Excise and Taxation Officer for early installation of Toll Bars in order to ensure the smooth traffic regulation.
The Excise Commissioner has urged upon all the officers /officials to ensure strict vigil that there should be no evasion of toll revenue and instructed upon the officers /officials to work with zeal and dedication and get fully involved in their jobs so that the targets fixed for the year 2011-12 be achieved in full.
