| Commoners condemn FIR against Shingari | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Aug 5: A large number of Jammuites have expressed their solidarity with Congress leader Surinder Singh Shingari agasint whom an FIR has been lodged.
Addressing a press conference here today at press club, Jammu, common men of Jammu condemned the act of lodging FIR against Shingari, who is a social worker and always stand for the cause of common man.
Shingari has not done any wrong deed nor has he made any statement leading to instigating some one. He has simply shown all sympathies with the family of deceased Sukhbir Singh, who died in GMC Jammu because of the negligence of doctors, they said
Shingari had raised this issue with the Principal Government College, Jammu.
Can this human act on behalf of a poor man projected by Shingari be termed as wrong?
The FIR which has been lodged against Shingari ought to have been lodged against the doctors, who created hell in GMC Jammu.
We all are with Shingari and appeal to the government that the FIR lodged against Shingari be cancelled/quashed and action against the doctores of GMC Jammu and in particular those of the Unit in which the Sukhbir was treated so that justice is granted to the family of the deceased.
They appealed to the masses of Jammu to stand against the high-handedness of the doctors of GMC, Jammu, and to protest assemble at Near Krishan
Jyotshi Mandir- Bakshi Nagar, Jammu, tomorrow from where a peaceful rally will be taken out against the FIR lodged against Shingari.
