KATHUA, August 6: A meeting of Young Lawyers Association (YLA) Kathua was held in the premises of District & Session Court Kathua. The main purpose of the meeting was to hail the appointment of Ajat Shatru, Advocate as District President Youth Congress Kathua via talent hunt held last year.
The young advocates present in the meeting thanked the party high command including National General Secretary Congress Rahul Gandhi, State President PYC Shoaib Lone and State Vice President PYC Advocate R S Pathania for electing an educated and talented youth leader as district president of youth congress Kathua who continuously working for the cause of students and youth from many years in NSUI.
As an advocate his role as human right activist is well known to the public at large. The decision of electing a educated & talented youth from the legal community as District President of Youth Congress Kathua proved that the organizational and political reforms started by Rahul Gandhi are also visible at ground level.
Ajat Shatru was also rewarded by Congress President Sonia Gandhi with the National Award of “Best District President NSUI” in the year 2003. The young advocates present in the meeting assure their full support to Ajat Shatru Sharma and hope that he will also help the advocate community in solving their issues related to them particularly as well as public at a large.
