| Sham visits SDH Akhnoor to know welfare of injured pilgrims | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, AUGUST 06-Minister for Health, Horticulture and Floriculture, Mr Sham Lal Sharma today visited Sub-District Hospital (SDH) Akhnoor and enquired the welfare of the yatris injured in an accident at Tanda near Akhnoor.
The yatris were on their way from Jammu to Shri Budha Amarnathji Shrine at Poonch when the bus in which they traveling met with an accident near Akhnoor this morning.
Nearly 25 person were injured, some of them seriously in the mishap They were admitted at Sub District Hospital Akhnoor.
The Minister interacted with the injured person and inspected the medical facilities being extended to them. He also issued instruction to the hospital authorities to provide free medicines and treatment and also arranged transport facilities to take the yatris to their destination. He also inspected one-day laparoscope camp organized at Sub District Hospital, Akhnoor.
Director Health Services, Jammu, Dr Madhu Khullar also accompanied the Minister.
