Awareness campaign on ill effects of polythene held | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, Aug 6: Speak India Environmental Foundation (SIEF) organized an awareness programme in the Tiny Scholars School here today unde its polythene free India mission. In this programme, senior journalist Ravinder Singh Slathia was the chief guest while the principal of Tiny Scholars School Manisha Gupta was the guest of the honour. Speaking on the occasion, the chairman of the organization Sunil Sharma gave a brief detail on the activities and polythene free India mission of the organization. Rohit Sharma active member of the SIEF motivates the students of the different classes not to use the polythene bags as the plastic bags destroy the entire ecosystem Several students also highlighted the hazards of polythene. Manisha Gupta appreciated the steps taken by the Speak India with the polythene free India mission and declared the polythene free zone in the school. Ravinder Singh Slathia said that every assistance would be given to the organization for its noble cause.
