NPSU to continue protest till appointment of VC notified
JPPF’s hunger strike enters 13th day

JAMMU, Aug 6:
Jammu Province People's Forum relay hunger strike entered 13th day while sitting at Raja Jambulochan Memorial parks Purani Mandi Jammu.
Today the forum members sitting on hunger strike include Rakesh Abrol (Chairman Bus Stand Shopkeeper Association), Madhu Sharma (President), Narinder Kumar (General Secertary), Surinder Gupta (Sr Vice President), Rajesh Gandotra (Vice President), Inderjeet Sharma (Secretary).
The organizations/sabhas which participated in moral support by sitting alongwith fasting leaders included besides Chairman of JPPF, Pavittar Singh Bhardwaj, Inderjeet Khajuria President All Hotels and Lodges Association, Th. Narayan Singh President Amar Kashatriya Rajput Sabha, Prof. Devender Sharma ex-President All India Brahmin Federation, Rajiv Mahajan State President Shri Ram Sena, Udey Chand President Duggar Pradesh Party, Raj Kumar Social activist, Prof. B.L Bhardwaj, ML Sharma, Avinash Bhatia old stalwart Shiv Sanik, Deepak, Prem Khajuria. New Young Blood Association Ashok Verma President, Vipul Shastri.
Pavittar Singh Bhardwaj while speaking on the occasion informed the audience that our struggle shall continue till formal orders of appointment of VC CU Jammu are issued by HRD Ministry Government of India.
He warned the administration to desist from use of force against peaceful demonstrations by the student community Jammu students are worst sufferers and it is the reason that the trouble has percolated down to school going children at grass root level hailing from nook and corner of the region.
Meanwhile, National Panther Students Union (NPSU) which has launched agitation for CUJ has disclosed new methods of agitation in a press conference held today at party office.
Addressing the media persons Partap Singh Jamwal said that, the agitation shall continue as long as no notification is released by the HRD Ministry, and the students will continue protests till their demands are not fulfilled.
Partap Singh criticizing the statement of Dr. Karan Singh in which he said that the students should stop their agitation and that he will talk to the HRD ministry himself.
Jamwal said that the students do not feel that these are the symptoms of a reliable person. Warning the HRD ministry he said that there should be immediate appointment of VC so that the students are not forced to come on roads.
Agitation launched by National Panther Students Union (NPSU) for CUJ today entered 38th day. Early morning all the activist of NPSU gathered at Saheedi Sthal, Jammu. They raised slogans against HRD ministry.
On the occasion Sahil Choudhary (Provincial Sr. Vice President NPSU) said that it is very shameful on the behalf of the so called leaders of Jammu region who are preferring silence instead of raising voice of the students’ community of Jammu region at proper platforms.
