| Suspicious death of woman in Achabal | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
ANANTNAG, Aug 7:
Police on Sunday has registered a case into the mysterious death of a 35-year old woman of Trahpoo Achabal are in Anantnag.
The deceased, Ashiya, wife of Mohammad Yasin Itoo was allegedly beaten to death by her brother-in-laws identified as Bashir Ahmad Itoo and Mohd Hussain Itoo when her husband was out of the house.
16 years old Mashqoor Ahmad Itoo son of Ashiya turned emotional and tears started rolling down on the cheeks while narrating the unfortunate tale of his mother’s demise.
“My uncles beat my mother ruthlessly after a quarrel broke out in our house. The duo beat my mother with a hard stick and removed her hair also. At the time of incident was out of the house,” Mashqoor told media men in District Hospital Anantnag, where he was waiting for the dead body of his mother
Mashqoor said, “My mother was referred to SKIMS from District Hospital Anantnag, but she died on the way near Bijbehara.”
In this regard police has lodged an FIR under No. 174 PRC and one of the deceased’s brother-in-laws had been arrested.
Meanwhile the dead body of 22 year old youth Irshad Ahmad Bimla of Aelen Payeen, Kokernag was fished out by rescue team near lift irrigation centre, Awantipora.
Irshad was drowned in the Jehlum while having a bath near Larkipora in Awantipora.
