| KBCC Khanyar, ACC win ties in T20 | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
SRINAGAR, August 07: The KBCC Khanyar and Anchar Cricket Club (ACC) won their respective matches to move into the next round of the ongoing Khawaja Naqashband Sahab Twenty20 Cricket Tournament at Radapora playing field, here.
In the first match of the day, KBCC defeated FCC Khanyar by a margin of 12 runs. Batting first, KBCC set a target of 167 runs with Mudasir making highest 42 runs off 36 deliveries. From FCC, Abid clinched four wickets. In reply, FCC Khanyar bowled out for 154 runs thereby lost the match by 12 runs.
In the second match of the day, Anchar Cricket Club (ACC) registered an outright 10-wicket win over Hassainee Sports Club (HSC).
Earlier, HSC won the toss and decided to bat first made 106 runs which, ACC chased the total making 110 runs in just 11 overs that too without any loss. Jehangir played an outstanding innings of 34-ball 66 including 11 boundaries and two sixes while Ajaz contributed 37 runs coming off 26 balls.
This tournament is being organised by J&K State Sports Council.
