| USTA discusses problems of teaching community | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Aug 7:
A meeting of J&K United School Teachers Association (USTA) District Samba was held today to discuss the various problems being faced by the teaching community
The meeting which was held under the chairmanship of district president
Raj Kumar Sharma also deliberated upon the formation of clear cut and transparent transfer policy by transferring the teachers working in the far flung
areas of the district besides filling up of all vacant posts in rural schools.
The participants discussed regularization of all ReTs, who have completed 5 years of service and release of their pending pay arrears.
USTA stressed upon the educational authorities to transfer all the masters working outside their districts,
The DPC of all cadres i.e. masters, headmasters, lecturers and class fourth employees and selection grade to the under graduate teachers was also demanded by the members.
