Lecturers concerned over delay in regularisation | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Aug 8: All Jammu and Kashmir plus 2 Lecturers’ Forum has expressed serious concern over the delay in regularization of incharge lecturers in the department. Central House of representatives in its monthly meet held under the Chairmanship of President of the forum H.D.Qureshi reviewed over all scenario in the department with special focus on the delay in the regularization of incharge incumbents which include lecturers, principals, CEOs and other higher Officers. House expressed its surprise that despite Cabinet decision for Regularization and announcements of Minister for Education Peerzada Mohammad Sayeed, about 7000 incumbents are awaiting their conformation since 1998 on-wards. House strongly advocated for extending benefit of “running pattern” to the cadre in accordance with announcement of Ex- Chief Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad on April 9, 2007. House strongly pleaded for implementation of announcement of Peerzada Mohammad Sayeed Education Minister for upgradation of Higher Secondary Schools as intermediate colleges in the state. Qureshi while speaking on this occasion appealed Minister for Education Peerzada Mohammad Sayeed for his personal intervention to address the grievances of cadre on priority. Others who addressed the meet include Charan Dass and Manmeet Bali both Vice President, N.S Jamwal General secretary, Ashwani Sharma Chief Organiser, B.D Sharma District President Jammu besides all the District President of Jammu Region.
