| Power shut down on Aug 09 | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, AUGUST 08-Chief Engineer, System and Operation Wing Jammu has intimated that Power Grid Corporation Ltd Jammu is taking shut down of Salal-Jammu-I line on August 09, 2011 from 1100 hours to 1200 hours for emergent preventive maintenance of Salal Power House. It is likely to disturb power availability position in the state.
The J&K State Power Development Department shall use all possible means to meet the shortage of power due to shutdown of this power house but occasional curtailment in some areas might become unavoidable.
Inconvenience caused to the public, if any, is being regretted.
