| Div Com stresses on early clearance of land issues under ERA projects | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU,August 8- Divisional Commissioner Jammu, Dr. Pawan Kotwal, today convened an officers meeting to review the progress of various road projects being executed by ERA in Jammu city especially the land acquisition cases.
Among others Additional Deputy Commissioner, Ms Sheetal Nanda, Assistant Commissioner Revenue Jammu, Assistant Commissioner Nazol Jammu, Collector Land Acquisition J&K ERA, Project Manager Transport ERA Jammu, Project Manager Urban ERA Jammu, Project Manager Loan-II (JKUSDIP) Jammu, Deputy Project Manager ERA and other line departments attended the meeting.
Threadbare discussion was held on removing the bottlenecks hampering the execution of various projects by ERA in Jammu besides deliberating upon strategies for further streamlining of functioning of these vital works.
The Divisional Commissioner asked the executing agencies to ensure early clearance of land acquisition cases under different road projects so that these could be completed in time. He asked them and line departments to work in close synergy to complete the ongoing works in time and the projects should not be delayed due to lack of coordination at any level. He also stressed for timely restoration of the dug up roads.
