JAMMU, Aug 08: A tehsil status has been demanded for Purmandal, which falls in Samba district, by the people of the area.
A protest was also held at Purmandal Sunday evening by some people in support of their demand. The protest was held under the leadership of naib-sarpanch Prakash Sharma.
