BJYM activists leave for Delhi to join “Sansad Gherao” movement | | | EARLY TIMES Jammu, Aug 8: Led by their state president Munish Sharma, hundreds of activists of Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) left for New Delhi to join their counterparts from other parts of the country for Morcha’s August 9 “Sansad Gherao” programme against UPA’s involvement in corrupt practices and other sensitive issues. The buses carrying them were flagged off by BJP state President Shamsher Singh Manhas alongwith other leaders of the party from Maheshpura Chowk. Shamsher Singh Manhas, on this occasion, said that BJP and its various morchas and cells have been continuously undertaking programmes of different modes for the past few years against corruption, price rise, unemployment and black money which have not only shattered the faith of the masses but brought shame to the nation and resentment among the educated youth of the country. He said that the UPA-2 under most intelligent economist of the country, has crossed all limits as scam after scam has come to light and this dispensation at the centre has now become a government of scams. 2G scam, the Commonwealth Games Scam, the Adarsh Society scam, the Antrix Multimedia Scam among other scams have been dominating headlines every day. Today a common Indian citizen is worried over such major scams but unfortunately the Congress-led UPA has least concern to punish those found guilty, rather attempts are being made to shield big fishes. Manhas said that August 9 “Sansad Gherao” rally has been planned to coincide with the anniversary of the launch of the Quit India Movement by Mahatma Gandhi on 9th August 1942. He said “today, the shackles of foreign rule and oppression have been replaced by the malaise of corruption. This is an opportunity for the youth of the country to come together and demand an answer from the Government on the issue of corruption, price rise and unemployment”. BJYM State president Munish Sharma before boarding the bus alongwith other activists said that the scheduled rally of the morcha has been planned to exert pressure on the union government to prove its worth by taking stern action against all such elements who are involved in corruption cases. He said that the youth has a very important duty towards the nation and it becomes imperative on their part to expose and agitate for punishing those people who are looting the hard earned Indian money. Jitendra Singh, Chander Prakash Ganga, Sat Sharma (CA), Sukhnandan (MLA), Harinder Gupta, Balbir Ram, Ayodhya Gupta and Praduman Singh were prominent among those who were present on the occasion
