| Woman hurt after being mauled by bear | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Aug 08: A woman was Sunday wounded after being mauled by a bear in the remote Gagrian village of Mandi in Poonch.
Police sources said Sarba Begum, wife of Sanaullah, was returning home from their field at Gagrian when a wild bear appeared on the scene and attacked her.
The bear was later chased away by the villagers. The woman was admitted to hospital. Their field is close to the Gagrian woods.
