NPSU’s agitation enters 40th day

Jammu, Aug 8: Agitation launched by National Panther Students Union (NPSU) for CUJ today entered 40th day alongwith 15 days of hunger strike by the activists of YP and NP.
Earlier the various colleges of Jammu Province were boycotted by the activists of NPSU including GDC Ramnagar, GGM.SC.college, SPMR college of commerce, GDC Ploura, GDC Samba and GDC Udhampur.
Today students of Jammu province showed their protest by tying black bands against the Govt. and HRD Ministry.
Earlier in GGM Sc College the students collected in the science college and tied black bands showing their resentment.
This massive protest was led by Sahil Choudhary and Abhay Sharma. Sahil Choudhary (provincial sr. Vice President NPSU) said that the voice of the students which is raising in various colleges and also in JU is a genuine demand and should be taken seriously by the govt which seems to be in no mood to hear the voice of agitating students.
He said that the spark like voice of students is increasing day by day and this spark will become volcano one day if govt. will not do anything in students favor.
The students of SPMR College of Commerce also boycotted their classes under the leadership of Lovkesh Gandhi and
Anjali Choudhary (NPSU leaders) and showed their resentment against the Govt. by tying black bands.
It is pertinent to mention here that even the female students of Commerce College came out and boycotted their classes in large numbers along with the boys to show their resentment against the Govt. and Jammu ’s representatives.
On the occasion Partap Singh Jamwal (provincial president NPSU) said that the protest which was held today by tying black bands was not only against the Govt. but also against the representatives of Jammu region who did not support the students of Jammu during this struggle.
He said that the target of the students now are not only the
govt. and HRD but also those leaders and representatives of Jammu who did not support the cause of the students in any way , and that tomorrow the students will burn the effigies of so called representatives of Jammu.
