| Youth Congress held meet | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, August 8: A press conference was organized by youth congress activists in which some old activists of youth congress also participated. The main purpose of the press conference was to condemn the statements given by some anti social elements during protest and press conference.
They say that this protest demonstration was sponsored by the agents of BJP who claim themselves to be the former office bearers and workers of youth congress in fact they have nothing to do with Congress or youth congress and moreover they don’t have the membership of the youth congress.
While addressing the media persons a youth activist Gagandeep Singh said that he is also working in Youth Congress from the time former PYC president Mohammad Amin Butt but he never saw those persons as youth congress workers or any official position they hold in past.
In year 2008 during assembly elections some these persons stand polling agents of BJP and some openly campaigning against the congress candidate Ch. Lal Singh M P.
This all was happening because of a political conspiracy hatched by some congress leaders which will be exposed by the youth congress in times to come with relevant proofs. Last year talent hunt was conducted in almost all the districts of J&K like Kathua in which persons from all the blocks, villages and urban area participated.
As per the constitution of youth congress only persons from the age of 18 years to 35 years can become the members and office bearers of youth congress who possess the qualities like working experience, without criminal record, qualification, etc.
As a result of this talent hunt two youth candidates have given place in the state executive from district Kathua. Advocate Ajat Shatru Sharma is appointed as DYC president Kathua. This appointment process took about one year and after the getting enquiry from eight agencies IYC national incharge Rahul Gandhi and National president Rajeev Satav the state executive PYC constituted.
It is pertinent to mention here that Ajat Shatru Sharma is working from last 12 years for the cause of youth and the students.
Last he was elected as president of young bar association Kathua.
In view above long track record of Ajat Shatru Sharma is appointed as DYC president Kathua. Due to his above appointment in youth congress the communal forces get disturbed and by taking the help of their agents who claim themselves to be members and former office bearers of youth congress, wanted to weaken the congress in the area by organizing false protest demonstrations and press conferences.
