Dy CM meets series of deputations | Distributes cheques to BSUP beneficiaries | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, Aug 8: Deputy Chief Minister Tara Chand today said that equitable development of all three regions of the state is resolve of the government and work on the road map to development is in full swing. He said with active support from central government mega development projects have been launched to provide basic facilities to ruralites and urbanites of the state. The Deputy Chief Minister was interacting with deputations who had called on him at his residence today. A series of deputations from rural and far-flung areas of Kot Meira, Panch Toot, Kartyal Simbal, Pargwal and Mallah brought to the notice various issues of their areas, which include uninterrupted power supply, potable water and road connectivity. A deputation from Nanak Nagar area presented demands of their area, which include early start of work on lane, drains and allied civil works. While giving patient hearing to the deputations, Tara Chand assured that all genuine demands would be addressed at the earliest and issued on spot instructions to the concerned for early take up of the issues brought up by the deputationists. Meanwhile, the Deputy Chief Minister also presented cheques worth Rupees Twenty Seven Lacs and Seventy Five Thousand to 29 beneficiaries of BSUP. Commissioner, Jammu Municipal Corporation A.K. Sawhney, Chief Accounts Officer and other officers of the corporation were present on the occasion.
