| One booked under public property damage act | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Aug 08: One person was booked by Poonch police under public property provocation damage act after he cut the potable water supply pipe of a widow at Shendra in Poonch.
The case was registerted after an assistant executive engineer (AEE) of PHE department, sub-division, Surankote, lodged a complaint in this regard with Poonch police station.
In his complaint, the AEE alleged that one Mohammad Sadiq of Shendra had cut the GI pipe supplying drinking water to the house of Nazma Bi, widow of Mohammad Sharief of Shendra.
Sadiq was also alleged to have stolen 40 mt pipe. Police had registered a case against him under section 2/3 of public property provocation damage act.
