UDHAMPUR, Aug 9:
The National Informatics Center (NIC), Udhampur organized a workshop on e-Monitoring System here today. Technical Director, NIC Jammu, J.S Modi, Chief Planning Officer, H.H Dutt, Assistant Commissioner Development, Joginder Rai, Assistant Director Planning, Udhampur, Ashok Kumar, District Informatics officer, Udhampur, Anil Sharma, Engineers of PWD, PHE, Irrigation, RDD and PMGSY attended the workshop.
The Chief Planning Officer, Dutt said that there was an urgent need to devise e-monitoring system of each work under execution under different sectors, programme which would enable the District Development Commissioner to improve the monitoring of development works and at the same time enable the public to get information about the executed works in the district.
District Informatics Officer, Udhampur made the participants aware about the District Development e-Monitoring System through a power point presentation and detailed the silent features of the system.
