| Workshop on e-monitoring system held | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Udhampur Aug 9: A workshop on District Development e-Monitoring System was organized by the National Informatics Center (NIC), Udhampur here today.
Technical Director, NIC Jammu, J.S Modi, Chief Planning Officer, District Informatics officer, Udhampur, Anil Sharma , Chief Planning Officer, Dutt and heads of other government departments attended the workshop.
The Chief Planning Officer, Dutt said that there is an urgent need to devise e-monitoring system of each work under execution under different sectors, programme which would enable the District Development commissioner to improve the monitoring of development works and at the same time enable the public to get information about the executed works in the district.
District Informatics Officer, Udhampur made aware the participants about the District Development e-Monitoring System through a power point presentation and detailed the salient features of the system.
