| SEAC programme held at Nougran, Bishnah | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Aug 9:
Go Green Club Jammu, a volunteer social organization working to save the ailing earth by doing simple works like say no to plastic bag, growing trees etc.
The programme was self sponsored under the theme "Plastic bag - A Major Threat to Our Environment" at Girls Govt. High School Nougran, Bishnah, Jammu. In this programme student & teachers of Govt. boys' high school Nougran, Bishnah, Jammu also participated.
The programme was inaugurated by Suresh Dubey (head master of
Govt. Girls high school Nougran,Bishnah,jammu). A live debate competition was also organized by the students of host school under able guidance of school teacher Meena Rajput and Monika. A special jury was also selected for the judgment of debate competition." In the programme the children from host school delivered their thoughts in the school. Maximum students spoke on harmful effects of plastic bag and focused on saving our environment by just saying no to plastic bag. An expert lecture was also given by Arun Khajuria (chairman of public technocrat's society, Jammu).
