| Mud house gives way to rains at Mohalla Paharian | | | JAMMU: A mud house gave way to torrential rains at Mohalla Paharian here late Monday night.
Police said the mud house of Vijay Kumar, son of Bansi Lal, collapsed due to heavy rains at Mohalla Paharian late last night and the debris fell on the gift house of Rajesh Khurana, son of SP Khurana of Shastri Nagar.
Though there was no casualty in the incident, several items in Khurana's gift house were damaged. The loss was estimated at about Rs 2 lakh.
Police said Khurana also dealt in photostat machines and mobile phone spare parts.
The city police had registered a case in this connection. |
