| Pak Rangers hand over minor's body to BSF | | | JAMMU: The Pak Rangers today handed over to BSF the body of Sarmoo (6), son of Yousaf of Chak Manglan, Samba, who was Sunday evening washed away in flash floods in Basantar river.
Sarmoo was grazing cattle close to the Basantar bank at Samba when he was washed away by flash floods across the International Border (IB) in Pakistan.
His body was today fished out from the river by the Rangers. Police sources said the Rangers contacted troops of 59 Bn of BSF at Galad outpost and handed over the body to them.
The BSF later gave the body to his family for its last rites. |
