JKATA hails Govt. decision | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, Aug 9: Hailing the state cabinet decision taken to accommodate all the 2642 Agriculture Technocrats presently working as ReZ, Agriculture Technocrats demanded their regularization on the bases of seniority and age. Addressing press conference, Surinder Randotra president, Jammu and Kashmir Agriculture Technocrats Association (JKATA) welcomed the cabinet decision to accommodate technocrats as village agriculture extension assistant in phased manner, adjusting as such 881 of them in 2014, and 2015 and remaining in 880 in 2016 in the pay scale of 9300-34800 + 4200 GP. The association has however expressed dissatisfaction over the decision to regularize them on the basis of merit and their qualification and demanded that their adjustment as VAEA should be done taking into consideration the year of passing the BSc Agriculture Degree and age of candidates. He thanked Chief Minister Omar Abdullah and Agriculture Minister G M Mir and other Cabinet Ministers for conceding their long lasting demand for regularization. Those who were present in the press conference were Dr Maneet Singh vice president, Dr Jai Vashisht general secretary, Dr Puneet Gandotra, Dr Mohd Rafi Banday, Dr Sanjay Puri and Dr Pawan Bali general secretary, Dr Charanjeet, Dr Lalit, Dr Vinod, Dr Amit Gupta and others.
