| BJP holds candle light march | | Power blues in Rajouri! | | Early Times Report RAJOURI, Aug 10: Staging their protest against irregular power cuts and non-supply of ration in rural areas of Rajouri, BJP today held candle march in Rajouri raising anti-government slogans for their alleged apathetic attitude. BJP has also served an ultimatum to the department to solve people’s problem or face agitation by the BJP in near future. Meanwhile according to press statement of the party, State Secretary of BJP Advocate Vibodh Gupta has said that state government failed to provide basic facilities to commoners especially Muslims of Rajouri during Ramzan. He said that government has promised about no curtailment of power during Namaz and Tarawih but Muslims of Rajouri are openly taking to the streets against Minister of State for Power for his failure about providing uninterrupted power supply during Ramzan. He said that this speaks in volumes about sincerity of public representatives. Meanwhile District President Yogesh Sharma also lambasted the government for not taking any action against PDD and CAPD officials. He said that people will come to the streets in future also if both these departments will not address problems of the people.
