| Doda boy invents unique model | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
DODA, Aug 10 : Believe it or not, but it’s true that in a remarkable achievement, a 17 years old boy hailing from the remotest and backward area of Doda district has invented a working model on NA Honey Bee trap alarm system which he is now going to introduce in the coming National Level Science Exhibition.
The boy named as Naveed Ajum Guress S/o Kayem-ud-Din of Village Dugli of Doda district said that with this newly technique based model, I am going to change the whole shape of Apiculture not in our state but in India also which will directly benefits the people who are associated with this profession.
Naveed also said that this model will help in catching honey bees while they try to escape during breeding in summer season and helps in raising the production of honey, honey bees, preserving endangered species and increasing the agricultural production also.
Further more he added that this model will directly benefit medical and ayurvedic industry thus provide employment to thousands of unemployed youths of the state.
The NA Honey Bee trap alarm system model is practically based on two scientific principles namely Bernoulli’s and Darwin’s theory of survival of fittest said Naveed Anjum.
It is pertinent to mention here that Naveed Anjum has recently passed his 12th from Green Model Higher Secondary School Doda and has participated so many times in District, State, Divisional and National level Science Exhibitions where he remained among all these events.
During the last 2 years, Naveed has attended 8 Science Exhibition and remained topper during 2010 in District Science Exhibition for which the District Administration has awarded him.
However Naveed was the only who represent District Doda during the recently held 32nd and 33rd Divisional Level Competition and from where he was selected to participate in state level competition held in State Institute of Education (SIE) Srinagar where he display this newly designed model and bagged Ist position and awarded by Education Minister of Jammu & Kashmir and now this young and budding boy of this backward District of J&K is going to participated in the national level event wherein he is going to display this newly designed model.
While narrating his views, Naveed revealed that he belongs to a middle class family of backward area but unfortunately during this period no body from the Govt. has honor him for his budding talent as he did not get any kind of support either from the District Administration and Govt. as well.
On the one hand if the state govt. is claiming huge commitments in providing the platform to the young and budding youths of the state then why they ignored the talented youths of erstwhile Doda District of Chenab region all the times is now a question mark for them.
Further Naveed told that first he is going to launch this newly model from his native village Dugli in coming year.
Meanwhile President Doda Students Welfare Organization (DSWO) Faizan Tramboo has appealed the State Govt. particularly the concerned ministry to provide all possible help to Naveed so that he may excel more in his noble mission which he is serving for the whole country and awarded hum suitably for his extra-ordinary performance in this field.
