KP leaders appeared before NHRC | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, Aug 10: Kundan Kashmiri National President KPC and C.L. Gadoo, Former president KSD appeared before the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) at New Delhi and highlighted in detail the problems being faced by the internally displaced Kashmir Pandits in general viz a viz recently appointed KP employees posted in valley, in particular. They appealed to Court of NHRC to advise state and centre Governments not to link KPs employment with the return and rehabilitation policy of the government. They told the commission that KP community has not left the valley for petty jobs but for the other serious issues which needs to be brought in focus and to be accepted by the government. They told the commission that KPs are unaware whether that virus has died down which was responsible for our mass exodus which needs commission of enquiry to find out the facts responsible for these ethnic cleansings. They also told the commission about missing of KP youth, Sushil Kr. Raina of District Anantnag. Besides, insufficient accommodation, lack of security, medical problems, posting in far flung Areas and delay in disbursement of the salaries of KP employees in the valley. Court of Human Rights commission instructed Government to submit it report with in the period of two months about the problems and difficulties faced by the KP employees.
