| Abdi Kunj pays tribute to Khajuria, Bachhan | | |

Abdi Kunj organized a composite literary meet, which was presided over by Jaswant Singh a well known writer and social activists.
The proceedings started with the welcome address by President Adbi Kunj Sham Talib who presented two resolutions. Paying tributes to late Vishwanath Khajuria, a known Dogri writer and playwright on his birth centenary. It was through his play titled “Achhut” that he had come down heavily upon the scourge of casteism on account of which some religious bigots of his time had even tried to ostracise him from the society. But he continued his crusade against the menace of casteism. The second resolution tributes were paid to Late, Harivansh Rai Bacchan on his 99th birth anniversary and his contribution to literature was lauded on this occasion.
In the poetic meet those who recited their poems and ghazals included Alamdar Adam, Ushaq Kishtwari, Talib Kashmiri, B.S.Bhall, Syed Sibte Razza, Maharaj Krishen Dimple Ghayal, Abdul Jabbar Bhat, Mohd Yasin Ansari, Rajeev Kumar, Jaswant Singh, Nargis Sitara and Sham Talib.
