Jammu: Two persons, including an insane woman, were killed and seven others wounded some of them critically, in separate road accidents here today.
A woman, said to be mentally retarded, was injured critically after a crane hit her at Gangyal. She was shifted by police to Gandhi Nagar hospital where she died.
In a head-on collision between an autorickshaw and a motorcycle near Asia hotel at Gandhi Nagar, Balbir Singh (40), son of Natha Singh of Chatha, Satwari, was killed on the spot.
Anil Kumar, son of Natha Ram of Raipur Gujaran, RS Pura, Sikandar, son of Gareeb Dass, his brother Ashok Kumar, Ashok's son Ajay, Mohan (55), son of Dharam Singh of Main Bazar, Katra, Mohinder, son of Munshi Ram of Kundal Ram Nagar and Brij Mohan, son of Vijay Kumar of Udhampur, were injured in other road accidents.
All of them were undergoing treatment at the GMC hospital. |
