| Jan inaugurates span foot bridge | | | Early Times Report
POONCH, Aug 11: MLA Poonch Ajaz Jan inaugurated a footbridge over Chapria Pralkot Sawjain at village Sawjain.
Bridge has been constructed by public works department at a cost of Rs.27.35. Lakhs. MLA during his address had all the appreciations for officials of PWD for carrying out the quality work of footbridge and that too in a record time. He lauded the role of PWD for coming up to the aspirations of general public.
He also inspected the ongoing works under MNREGA and constituency development funds of MLA. Directions were issued to Block Development Officer Mandi for executing and implementing MNREGA in its true spirit so that the living standard of people in this far flung area could be raised.
During the public meet directions were issued to various departments to come up with people friendly policies and launch single window clearance procedures in routine works. A large numbers of locals attended the meeting.
