7 POK guests among 29 cross sides in Karvan-e-Aman bus | | | Early Times Report SRINAGAR, Aug 11: Seven Pakistan occupied Kashmir (PoK) guests were among 29 people, who crossed sides in the Karvan-e-Aman bus operating between Muzaffarabad and Srinagar. Official sources said seven PoK guests arrived at Kaman Post, the last Indian military post on the Line of Control (LoC) in Uri sector after crossing the Aman Setu Bridge on foot this afternoon. They said only one Kashmiri crossed over to other side to meet his relatives in PoK. This is after three weeks, one Kashmiri crossed to PoK. However, 21 PoK residents, who were in Kashmir, also returned to their homes after completing stay with relatives here. They had come in previous buses. The service, introduced on April 7, 2005, when Prime Minister Manmohan Singh flagged off the first bus, has helped thousands of families divided in 1947 to meet each other.
