| PDD conducts drive to boost revenue realization | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Aug 11:A team of Power Development Department led by AEE Surjeet Singh and AE Vivek Sharma along with field staff under the supervision of Executive Engineer Electric M & R E Division -1, Parade AK Chibber visited different city areas under their jurisdiction to boost up revenue realization and stop power theft.
Large numbers of installations were checked by the team at various location of old city. Defaulters were booked and penalties were imposed on them on spot besides they were warned of legal action as per State Electricity Act.
The officers of the division have appealed the consumers to remove their illegal electric connections (Kundi) or face legal action.
Consumers are also appealed to get their load revised to avoid penal charge as per State Electricity Act.
