Press Conference on 11-8-2011 at Pahalwan Restaurant Pir Mitha Jammu
under the chairmanship of Krishan Lal Abrol President Swarnkar Sangh
Jammu Province.
In the press conference the various burning issues of Swarnkars of Jammu were discussed and for conceding of the issues by the present coalition State Govt.
Swarnkar Sangh has demanded granting of Backward Class status to the Swarnkars of the state on the pattern of other states
Addressing a press conference here today President Swarnkar Sangh Jammu provinces Krishan Lal Abrol said that when all States of the country have declared Swarnkars as backward class, the only exception is Jammu & Kashmir government which has not extended the benefit here.
Abrol said that various other genuine demands of Swarnkars are still pending including Naga form, fee relaxation, SRO is complete in this regard, but the final SRO is to be issued with direction to the concerned department.
He said it is the demand of Swarnkars that the final SRO be issued so that Swarnkars can deposit relaxed fee against the Naga form after completion of requisite document.
