| JCUM extends felicitations to local CU VC, appeal for political empowerment to Jammu | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, Aug 12: Founded in 2009 for the sole purpose & aim of getting established Central University with local Vice-chancellor at Jammu, a conglomerate of ten organizations- Dugger Pardesh Party, Peoples’ Revolutionary
Movement, Jammu State Morcha, Dogra Liberation Front, Sangram Sena,
Rashterwadi Morcha, SoS International, JJSF, Students & Scholars Joint
Action Committee- JCUM attributes this success, although partial to the brave people of Jammu especially the volatile student community and all others cutting across their respective affiliations.
JCUM feels the role of media as exemplary and also that of magnanimity and generosity that displayed highest degree of journalism for which this fourth pillar of democracy exists.
JCUM feels that the appointment of S.S.Bloeria- an administrator of repute, a person of integrity & honesty- would definitely go a long way as it would inspire people to achieve maximum they want by bringing their hands and shoulders together and, exhorted them to get ready for their bigger role to end the six decade old miseries, neglect & deprivation at the hands of Kashmiris.
Impressing upon the new incumbent for this prestigious assignment, JCUM emphasized that in view of people’s struggle his job has become all the more important and hopes him to take & execute all requisites for building this highest institute of learning- a state of the art establishment- besides selecting and converging meritorious, talented and people of par excellence from all fields to make them contribute their might.
JCUM impressed upon the new VC to take all necessary & emergent requisite measures for\ making this institution functional from this session itself with ultra modern high tech subjects and equally competent faculty. They also suggested for constituting advisory committee along with a team of competent academicians for effective functioning and also top class builders and town planners of repute.
While eulogizing the role of Jammuities especially social & student organizations including JPPF, JJSF, NPSU, SSJAC, NSF,JURSA and lately ABVP and also Panthers Party and conspicuously MPs Lal Singh & Madan Lal for their overwhelming support and participation, JCUM exhorted them to gear up & get ready for ultimate struggle for ‘political empowerment of Jammu’ to be launched very soon.
JCUM categorically stated and clarified that their front would continue to function and would act as watchdog by keeping a close eye & vigil in the overall development and functioning of this new university.
