| CPI (M) condemn youth’s killing in Poonch | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, Aug 12: A short noticed meeting of Jammu Regional Committee of CPI (M) was held in its office chamber under the chairmanship of comrade Sham Prasad Kesar its secretary.
Regional committee condemned the brutal killing of innocent youth by the security forces in the forest of Poonch district to get cash reward and promotion.
Regional committee also criticized the burial of dead body by the police without knowing the identity of the victim.
There is controversy over the identity of the youth till date. Government is trying to hush up the crime by arresting only low rank officials, CPI (m) alleged. Regional committee has demanded stern action against those responsible for the crime.
