No difference with colleagues: Ansari clarifies | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT Srinagar, Aug 12 (KNS): One of the Kashmir interlocutors, M M Ansari, Friday clarified that he never criticized his colleagues Dilip Padgonkar and Radha Kumar, but only advised them to make details of their foreign trips public. Talking to KNS from New Delhi over phone Ansari said, “I only said that Dilip Padgonkar and Radha Kumar shouldn’t have attended conferences organized by those organizations which were being financed by Pakistani spy agency ISI. I just suggested them to clarify their position over the issue.” He clarified that he never leveled any allegations against his colleagues. “I’ve no differences with my colleagues and our mission Kashmir is going on very well. There is no dispute between us on the final report to be submitted to the Home Ministry soon,” he told KNS. On Home Ministry recommending rejection of clemency petition filed by Parliament attack convict Afzal Guru to the President of India, Ansari said, “This was not the appropriate time to do so. Before taking any decision on Guru, all the aspects of Kashmir situation have to be taken into consideration first.” Asked whether interlocutors would try to meet separatist leaders during the next Kashmir visit, he said, “It has been our effort from the day one, but till now it couldn’t materialize. However, we would continue our efforts.”
