JAMMU | NOV 30 Uttaranchal Police and J&K Bank made their way into the semifinals in the ongoing IIIrd Division National Football League Tournament being played at Jammu University Grounds here. In the first match of the day, Uttaranchal Police outplayed Shastri Club, Delhi by two goals to nill as half time ended by 1-0. Neeraj Singh was the first to score a breakthrough for the winning side on a pass from team mate in the 17th minute while Hem Joshi struck in the last movement of the game to guide his side to a clean victory. Raja Aijaz Ali IG Police was the chief guest on the occasion. The match officials were Kamar-ur- Zaban, Shavi Joseph, Varun Sinha and Ramesh Subramanium. In the second match, J&K Bank drawn with Amethi Club, Haryana. J&K Bank with this drawn reached into semifinal and clash with BSF XI, Punjab. The match was officiated by Irfan ullah Khan, Deepak Dey, Hiren Gharman and Rock Jerruand. While Jugal Kishore Cabinet Minister for Rural Development was the chief guest.
