Woman abducted from Satwari

JAMMU, Aug 12: A widow was allegedly abducted by two persons from her residence at Makwal near Satwari Wednesday last and taken to Punjab.
In a complaint lodged with Satwari police station, Tej Ali, son of Haji Ali Hussain of Makwal, alleged that his sister-in-law, Bibi (27), widow of Gulab Din, had been abducted by two persons from her residence at Makwal.
He identified the acused as Mohammad Shafi, son of Jamal Din and Gulab Din alias Ghani, both residents of Punjab.
Tej alleged that the accused had taken her to somewhere in Punjab.
Taking cognizance of the complaint, police had registered a case in this connection under section 366/109 0f RPC.
