| Painting Competition held | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, Aug 12: Valley View Army Public School organised a painting competition for the tiny tots of Rajouri at Rane Hawai Patti on Friday. More than 250 students from class I to V from all major primary schools of Rajouri participated in the event.
The aim of the competition was to boost up the feeling of National Integration and Unity. The theme given to students for painting was aptly chosen for the occasion as ‘Independence Day’, ‘My Colorful India’ and ‘Unity in Diversity’.
The children showed their talent and original ideas and enthusiastically participated in the competition. Certificate for participation was given to all the participants. Prizes in each category will be given on August 15 at a special function being organised at VVAPS.
Avisha student of class I of VVAPS and Master Satvik student of class V of VVAPS on being asked were very happy and elated to participate in the event. They emphasised that such events should be held more frequently.
