| Apple kids holds poem contest on eve of I-Day | | |  EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, August 12: Apple Kids International Pre-school, Bantalab here organized a patriotic english poem recitation competition on the eve of Independence Day, today.
During the competition, the tiny toddlers of the school recited beautiful patriotic poems with melody and actions. The feeling of patriotism was clearly visible in their voices.
Director of the school, Rahul Sharma was the judge in the competition. He appreciated the efforts put in by the teachers in the overall development of the children.
Earlier, to update the knowledge of the students, Principal of the school, Puja Sharma briefed the students about the importance of the day. She encouraged them to be responsible citizens of the country by way of performing their duties in a best way.
Later prizes were distributed among the winners of the competition. In pre-KG group, Angel Kohli bagged first place while Harsheeta Pandita and Sparsh Sahni declared second and third respectively.
Similarly, in junior KG category, Arushi Sharma was first, Nandini Dhar, second and Tanish Sharma remained third. In senior KG group, Mannat Raina bagged first place, followed by Paras Vir and Rohini at second and third place respectively. |
