| Govt creating quality healthcare infrastructure-Sham | | |  EARLY TINMES REPORT
JAMMU, AUGUST 12 – Minister for Health, Horticulture and Floriculture, Mr. Sham Lal Sharma today said that the Government is creating quality infrastructure to strengthen healthcare services in the state.
This was stated by the Minister at a CME cum Workshop on skin surgery organized by Times of India and AASTHA Skin and Dermate Cosmetic Centre.
On the occasion, the Minister felicitated Dr. Sri Lestari Kuncorowati from Indonesia. The Minister said that doctors should be more noble and humble towards the patient and ailing humanity to uphold the sanctity and dignity of this pious profession.
Mr. Sham appreciated the efforts of organisors for holding such type of CME and Cosmetic Surgery and hoped that they will continue their noble services with the same spirit.
The Minister said that the Government is keen to promote this type of practice particularly in the field of healthcare and education. He said that government wants massive participation of private health institutions in providing better healthcare services and supplementing government efforts.
Dr. Sri Lestan Kunorowati also spoke on the occasion and threw light on the subject.A musical programme was also presented on the occasion and the Minister presented trophies to various participants.Principal GMC Dr. Rajinder Singh, Director Health Services, Jammu Dr. Madhu Khullar, Drug Controller Jammu Dr. Satish Gupta, CMO Jammu Dr. Baldev Raj Sharma and prominent citizens were present on the occasion.
