Peoples conference has announced to come out with its own road map on resolution of Kashmir issue very soon. Addressing a public rally at Budgam, party Chairman Sajad Ghani Lone said though a propaganda is being unleashed on talks over Kashmir issue from various quarters, but Kashmiris have not been involved in the ongoing dialogue process so for.
Saying that people of Jammu & Kashmir hold the distinction of being principle party to 59 year long dispute, Lone warned that talks will not yield any fruitful results till Kashmiris are involved in the dialogue process. Stating that armed uprising started in 1989 brought the Kashmir issue into focus at international level, Sajad said his party has finalized its own road map and will be made public soon.
Claiming that road map of his party being entirely from road maps of other political groups seeks a central place for the people of Jammu & Kashmir state in the final resolution of long pending dispute, he said unity is possible, if leaders of all political groups are convinced to discuss the issue on a single table, and to give unity a chance, he underscored the need for a public consensus.
