Inspector General of Police Kashmir Range SM Sahai and IGP Jammu Range, Dilbagh Singh have been awarded President’s Police Medal for Distinguished Services on the eve of Independence Day 2011.
According to the notification issued by Ministry of Home affairs 20
officers of J&K Police have been awarded President’s Medal for

Srinagar, Ranjit Kanwar Manhas, Superintendent Of Police/ Commandant, Irp-19th Bn. Jammu, Abdul Rashid Bhat, Superintendent Of Police, AHJ, Airport,

Superintendent Of Police, Mohammad Anwar-Ul-Haq, Dy. Superintendent Of Police, Nissar Ahmed, Follower, Gurmeet Singh, Head Constable, Niyaz Ahmad Mir, Sub Inspector.
Besides, Sub-Inspector Shiv Krishen is the lone recipient from J&K Police of President’s Police Medal for Gallantry.
