| Pak flags hoisted at Kishtwar ID venue | | | Early Times Report
KISHTWAR, Aug 14 : In a major embarrassment for security forces in Kishtwar District, the anti national elements managed to hoist Pakistani flag at Chowghan ground Kishtwar, the venue for tomorrows 65th independence function at Kishtwar District, where the security forces were deployed in large number to thwart any untoward incident. These antinational elements under the close nose of security forces fixed the Pakistani flag on PDD transformer installed inside the venue; where as similar flag was hoisted on the other end of the venue, which was covered with barbed wires from all the sides. The matter came to the forefront after the tresspasser saw the Pakistani flag hoisted inside the venue and subsequently brought the matter into the notice of police. After receiving the information, Kishtwar police headed by SHO Kishtwar Mohammad Arif reached the spot and seized both flags. It is worthwhile to mention that Minister of State for Power Shabir Khan will preside over the tomorrow's Independence Day function at Kishtwar and will also hoist the Tricolor. |
