| US Senator John McCain meets Governor | | | Early Times Report
SRINAGAR, Aug 16: US Senator John McCain met Governor N. N. Vohra at Raj Bhavan here today.
During their wide ranging discussions lasting for about two hours, Senator McCain and the Jammu and Kashmir Governor exchanged views on various important issues of mutual interest.
Governor hosted lunch for Senator McCain and other members of the US delegation which comprised Christian Brose, Foreign Policy Advisor; Vance Serchuk, Foreign Policy Advisor, HSGAC; and Lt. Lawrence Heyworth, USN, Military Escort.
Lt. Gen. K. T. Parnaik, Northern Army Commander, and Lt. Gen. S. A. Hasnain, Corps Commander, XV Corps, were present on the occasion.
