| Ajaz Jan inaugurates Agriculture complex | | | Early Times Report
POONCH, August 16: MLA Poonch Haveli Ajaz Ahmed Jan, today inaugurated the newly constructed Agriculture Complex at Poonch in the presence of Ajeet Kumar Sahu, IAS, the District Development Commissioner, Poonch.
The agriculture complex has been completed at the cost of Rs. 10.00 lacs. The Additional District Development Commisioner and Additional Deputy Commissioner, Poonch and the Chief Agriculture Officer were also present at the inaugural ceremony. The newly constructed Agriculture Complex will be extremely useful to the farming community of district Poonch.
Later on, at Mandi Sub-District Hospital, the MLA inaugurated the 10 days medical camp. The medical camp has been organized by the Shri Guru Nanak Dev Charitable Organisation of Jullandhar in collaboration with the Medical Department of District Poonch.
On the first day itself, more than two hundred patients hailing from different areas of Mandi Block got themselves registered for medical checkup. The medical cum physiotherapy camp will cater to the needs of patients suffering from various chronic ailments like joint pains, obesity etc.
The MLA Poonch appreciated the efforts of the SGND Charitable Trust, Jullandhar and the medical department.
He also requested the NGO to organize such camps in the far flung areas of the Block, so that the benefits reach large number of masses.
The BMO Mandi, GA Malik extended his thanks to the MLA for sparing his valuable time. He also thanked the SGND trust for opting the area for physiotherapy treatment.
