‘Work on upcoming projects should be started at the earliest’

KISHTWAR, August 16: A deputation of Kishtwar congress called on Shabir Ahmad Khan minister of state for CAPD, Power, Transport and Forest on his visit to Kishtwar.
The deputation comprising of Sheikh Ghulam Haider vice president PCC, District President Pardeep Singh Parihar, District President Youth Congress Sheikh Nasir Hussain, INTUC president Raj Kumar Badyal and others apprised him of the present situation in the area and projected various local demands.
The deputation demanded that the work on up coming power projects be started without any delay and also demanded that local unemployed youth should be given preference in the jobs.
The deputation informed that the ration available at government depots is of sub-standard quality and that too is not available all the times.
They also demanded that more buses and passenger vehicles be provided to Kishtwar. Minister gave a patient hearing to the deputation and assured that all the genuine demands put forth by the deputation will be fulfilled.
