| Girl allegedly raped, then murdered in Rajouri | | | Amit Sharma
KOTRANKA: Kotranka residents on Tuesday blocked Rajouri-Budhal road and held protest for more than 3 hours alleging rape and murder of a local girl allegedly by an influential engineer at Rajouri.
As per reports, Kotranka residents took to the streets and hold protest against the engineer and police. The residents had staged dharna along with the dead body on the road and demanded lodge of rape and Murder case against Junior Engineer. However people were pacified after the intervention of Additional Superintendent of Police Shabir Choudhary.
Sources said that dead body of Rubina Kousar 15 years old has been found in Rajouri town from where she was shifted to hospital for post mortem.
The father of the girl alleged that her girl was working in the house of one Junior Engineer Mohammad Bashir and her dead body has been given this morning without giving us the reason of the death. "We are very much sure that she has been raped and then killed", father told media persons at the venue of protest. He added that they doubt on the Junior Engineer and demanded immediate arrest of him in the murder and rape case.
The residents said that there is some doctor in District Hospital Rajouri who is shielding the culprit and the same may have managed to temper post-mortem report. They added that they are receiving threat call from people not to disclose anything in media or public.
Demanding magisterial enquiry, the residents added that if police will not take any action they will again come to the streets and hold dharna. |
